Does any body know if there is health insurance costing less than 20 dollars for international students in US?
i am an international student in the US an i am in a desperate need of a health insurance that costs less than 20 dollars to get rid of the my schools health insurance.
i would take any type of response so don't hesitate a single bit

Less than $20 a month? No. You won't find legitimate health insurance coverage of any sort for less than $20 a month.
A perfectly healthy young person may be able to get a plan with a relatively high deductible/out of pocket cost for over $50 a month.
Anything less than $20 a month is a scam, and would likely never pay out a single claim for you.

even if you find one it will be a rip off.
some school provide health insurance cover though small --unknown corps
it's a RIP off too , and most of time it's like a discount card.
take my advice and try to visit your county hospital, county clinics, and be sure to take a copy of your students , passport.
most of time they can provide basic care base in your income..but their are very busy and could take up 30-45 days to get in
try to visit a local medical university, they train their residents and they will provide health care base in your income...if you agree to be seen by one of them--[ THEY UNDER FULL SUPERVISION BY THEIR PROFESSOR]
please go to largest church in your area and speak to the director , priest . belief me it does work..
they could refer you to a doctor for free fee in their network if you are honest with them about your health need.
it's very hard to be a foreign student in this country.

I assume you mean $20/month and if that's the case the answer would be no. You could probably get a $10,000 deductible in the $30-$50 range depending on where you live, but that may not suit your schools requirements.
You can check the links to the travel medical plans on my site as those may be that cheap....likely in the $30-$40 range if you go for a high enough deductible.
