Which air forces in the world accept laser eye surgery when applying to be a pilot?
My eyesight is not perfect, I am short sighted. I want to be a helicopter pilot. Are there any AFs that allow laser eye surgery excluding the USAF.
I heard New Zealand and australia allow it. What about the Dutch AF or the South African AF?
Is there any point in trying the RAF?
(many questions, sorry)

Not the Dutch AF
|||Easiest answer would be the US Army. If the surgery is done right and within the guidelines of the US Army, you can get flight status for a helicopter. But, to be commissioned as any type of Officer with the Army you must resolve any citizenship issues. Though, becoming a citizen here is pretty damn easy compared to a lot of other countries out there.

14 years US Army.
|||You do know you have to be a citizen of that country to join it's Air Force, so if your own country doesn't allow surgery then sh!t bust.
